Pepper plant

I experimented by planting 1 seed from a pepper, which is growing on my window sill. It's about 2 foot high. Plenty of leaves but no flowers. Can anyone help please.?

    Is it in a big enough pot,  don’t feed it yet.  Bit late now but it may flower.
    I only ever use seeds from a bought pepper. Straight from the pepper to the compost in mid March.

    Thank you, yes it is and from a bought pepper. Think I might just give up the is year.

    I start peppers and chillies at the end of Feb and usually start harvesting in mid-late August - they need a long season to ripen well in the UK

    Mid March is very early for me to sow seeds. You’re in a much warmer area Pete.

    @susan glover   Unfortunately, if you do not even have flowers at this stage, I'd give up for this year and try again next year.   A Feb/March sowing is the best bet and as @Pete.8 says, they do need a long season to ripen here.  I'm growing Palermo and Frigitelli and despite the recent high temps. some are only just beginning to turn.

    Me too, seeing as Philippa sent the seeds to me 😉
    The fruits are huge now,  not turning red though.
    I was beginning to think they were all the same but after a quick google I see that the Palermo are long and twisted and the frigs are long and straight.
      After looking at them, I see I have straight and twisted ones on the same plant,  so now I’m totally confused😀

    @Lyn  :D  The Frigs are shorter and blunt at the ends.  The Palermo's are pointed at the end and, on the whole, longer.
    Seems to depend how many fruits on each plant re the actual length - the Palermo's get shorter at the top but the "ends" are the best ID.  First time I've grown the Frigs but both the leaves and fruit seem a lighter green than the P's.
