I have just arrived back from spending a nice afternoon sitting in Jack's garden. He had done his washing and it was dry so I brought that all in for him. Whilst we were enjoying our cuppas a green woodpecker came into his garden and was feeding on the fat balls. I was so pleased to see it. Even though I have never seen them in my garden it is just nice to know that they are around.

A very good morning everyone. I slept better last night thanks to my trusty fan. I'm expecting a delivery of two new dustbins today. I want to move my bird food from the kitchen into one of them and my perlite into the other and then I'll store both in the garage. Cat and Jack duties again as well.

Came home quite late last night from cottage. Up in the hills temperature was extremely pleasant, and when I came down to town 🥵. Today I'm going to nearby city to shopping. List is quite long. I'll also pop to GC and see do they have any seeds for autumn and winter sowing.
