Evening all. My apologies for the lack of posts but my old laptop decided to cut me off completely from this site. Daughter has managed to fix the problem for me after a week of frustration. Off now to read back from late June. Hope you are all ok.

Hello @AnnaB, how frustrating for you! Tech savvy daughters are a godsend.

Hello all … just emerging from an afternoon and evening of tennis … good to see you @D0rdogne_Damsel and Well done Charlie!!!  🍾 👍 and well done to you and CdeG too   🥂
Good to see you too @AnnaB … Wonky married an IT tech and I’m eternally grateful 😊
I’m tucked up in bed with a book under a crescent moon … so night night all … sleep tight 😴

@Lizzie27 my OH was given all those instructions when he should have had his operation last year in a small private clinic. Only it didn't happen.

The doctor who suggested he had pulmonary hypertension ruined it all. He had no symptoms and the lung consultant didn't know why it had been suspected. His lung function tests were as good as a 50yr old's and he's 80. 9 months of expensive tests and all clear, still no op. Now being moved to an NHS hospital because of his age, another waiting list. We are so fed up and he's been in pain since before Covid. Sorry about the rant, need to get it off my chest from time to time.

Huge congrats to Charlie @D0rdogne_Damsel - thats quite an achievement.  Hope he’s excited about the next steps.

Going to Hampton Court Flower Show tomorrow with Mr C (he won’t do Chelsea because of the crowds, but HCt is much more spacious).  Weather forecast is looking goid 😎.  Hoping for a fun day 🌸🌺🌻🪷🌼

    Morning all.

Regarding the floods from Sydney and north, can you believe that someone has made a hoax call for help last night!   The kind of person I call sh,,t for brains or perhaps someone in the 18-25 age group suffering from testosterone poisoning. 😡😡. The various organisations rescuing genuine people are already being stretched to the limit.  Makes me really cranky.

Never mind, with a bit of luck the idiot might be made to work with the rescue groups until he drops.

On a happier note, my daughter has her 57th birthday today, so I’ve had a long chat on the phone with her.  We rarely get to Canberra for social time now.
Hubby has been whipper snippering around my garden so that’s looking much better. 👏👏

Good morning all 😊 ☕️ Happy birthday to your daughter @Pat E hope she’s had a lovely day.
We’ve got a fine dry morning 12C so far, and the forecast says it’ll go up to 20C … not too hot for @chicky at Hampton Court today. 😊

Thanks Dove. I think my daughter and her son are going to the Raiders Club for dinner tonight.  She said she is ordering garlic prawns.  One of my favourite meals as well. 😜
