Glad you enjoyed Hampton Court @chicky - any photos?
Gosh @Ergates - I had a very similar dream not that long ago.  It was definitely Paris but more medieval - there were pigs being slaughtered in back alleys.  Couldn't get back to my daughter and, not speaking French, ended up on the outskirts...
Love 'Previously on Forkers'! Thanks AnnaB.  What's that song In An English Country Garden? Maybe that.  But then we have our friends in France and @Pat E so something more inclusive as the theme.
Off to a lunchtime concert today - medieval music on medieval instruments (I think).

We’ve been watching more of LaTour until I had to declare bed time.  We’ll watch the rest tomorrow on recorded.
    Night all.

Evening all, had to retreat indoors by 4 pm, it's jolly hot out there. Spent an hour or so this morning on top of stepladder deadheading the rose on the arch in the front garden. It had developed long straggly bits which would get trashed if we have a storm with high winds so cut them all off.
Looking forward to seeing Hampton Court on tv tonight at 9 pm. Had a chance to get last minute tickets for today but wasn't sure I could cope with an all-day event.  glad @chicky enjoyed it. Hope Busy-Lizzie enjoyed her lunch and @didyw her medieval music concert.

Oh no! I’ve booked the day off to watch the semi finals too.

I hope everyone is ok. Warm today and forecast to stay warm for the next week or two here.

I enjoyed the gardening club quiz and lunch. We were divided into 6 teams of 4, names drawn out of a bucket. My team won, bottle of wine each.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
