I have today off as working Saturday so been a busy bunny just waiting for SM order then I need to tackle the front drive which is once again looking very weedy.
I did sleep, thanks, @Chivetalking. I think I find the hot weather tiring. At least it cools down in the night. I'm sorry you had a bad night @star gaze lily.
I got up early and did some watering in my nightie. Should have done it last night but we were too busy fighting with the printer. More to do tonight, I hope there won't be a hose pipe ban.
There are fires in the forests on the Atlantic coast, south of Bordeaux. 6700 people have been evacuated. It's a seaside holiday area, popular with campers. Today is Bastille Day, a bank holiday. There are usually fireworks, but maybe there won't be this time.

On the news here, they were asking people in some areas to be careful with water. No hosepipe bans yet, but shower instead of baths, try not to use the garden hose and the use of padding pools. Hope we don't get a hosepipe ban 🤞 although I am careful especially as we're on a metre.

We received very sad news few minutes ago. Mother of my sister ex fiance suddenly passed away this morning. She was a good lady which suffered a lot in her life, so we are all a bit shaken. I'll go to cottage, and clear my mind working a bit.
