Morning all,  Glad to hear your luggage arrived @Topbird and that your day at 'Sco went well LB.
Nelly is beautiful Hazel so I hope you find a good spot for her.  She likes a bit of shade if her colours are to be bright.
Sorry to hear OH is still feeling rough Rubee.
Hope you have a relaxing time Ante.
I've been busy removing a huge ant nest from a couple of plants in the conservatory.  They must have come up through the well.  I've taken the plants outside and washed them out.  There were thousand of eggs so they have been washed away and the area in the conservatory given a good spray.  I love wildlife but not in the house.  I'm still itching and the b****rs  can't half give you a nip when disturbed.
    Have a good day folks.

Afternoon everyone, it’s been overcast but a nice temperature here and breezy for wet things,
Rubee I hope all went well for OH with the doctor & nurse appointments this morning, sorry to hear he is still struggling with his health it can’t be easy for either of you,
Hazel Exciting to await the arrival of Nelly today, hope you have found a good spot for her. I’m glad you slept better last night, hope the reduced tea intake helps not sure I could do that 😉
Rosie How is your foot feeling today? Hope your meter readings were all ok, good to keep them accurate,
Yvie That sounded like a very tricky job to tackle, I wouldn’t like to find an ants nest indoors they do give you a good nip when disturbed and the flying ones are horrible 🐜
Time for some hot flat thing activity 🧺

Chive I’ve just finished with the hot flat thing.  Foot doesn’t ache quite as much today.  Lily yes it was the same foot.  LB hope you had fun at the lunch.  Hazel hope the reduced tea helps.

Good evening all. Lunch was a resounding success and I had taken along one of the quizzes (just for a bit of fun) that I had set on here two years ago. They loved it!
Ruby, I am sorry to hear that your OH has high blood pressure on top of his leg problems. I hope something has been prescribed that will help him.
Hazel, great excitement with Nelly arriving today. I am so happy that you are pleased with it. I have always had lovely plants from them.
Rosie, I have just sent off my meter readings. I've decided that the first of each month is a good time to do this task - whether BG like it or not! I am pleased to hear that your foot is not quite so achey today.
Yvie, I went all tickly just reading about your mahoosive ants nest!
Chive, is it only 3 weeks to go now?

    Good evening everyone.

LB, I'm glad that you enjoyed at quiz lunch.

Rubee, I really hope that your OH soon will be better.

Chive, do you count days before summer breaks?

I was at SM around 8pm. Inside cold and outside boiling hot, terrible combination. When I was waiting in line I get phone call from high school friend. Apparently we have reunion dinner tomorrow and nobody told me before. Now I must decide what to do, because I planned to go to cottage and do some other stuff.
