I did four sorts. Brukale that I harvest in winter, Cavolo Nero picking now , a frilly one that is already running up to seed and Fizz that remains to be seen yet.  I'm thinking of pulling out the one running to flower and sticking autumn cropping broad beans in their place.

This is the earliest I can remember picking enough runner beans for a meal 😀
Variety ‘Moonlight’. a self-pollinating runner French bean hybrid with a real runnerbean flavour. This is the third year I’ve grown them.

Wow! Well done Dovefromabove 👍. Mine are flowering but not reached the top of the canes yet.

The currant harvest in full swing, plus the start of courgettes and other veg from the plot.

    Excellent 👍@scroggin.
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

@fidgetbones we have just harvested our last blackcurrants. A great harvest this year and all mainly from one bush. We have eaten, bottled, frozen and made (still ongoing) wine.

I normally do the harvest of these blackcurrants middle of July.  School breaking up time/my friends birthday.  I've never been able to pick ripe ones in June before.  This year is definitely in advance of previous years.
