Looks good to me @Eustace, I like garlic but my better half doesn't so I've never grown it. We had a nice selection this morning, there was also a punnet of mangetout that we have to our neighbour.
Down watering at 5.30am then picking for a couple of hours. On the way home called at a good friends to drop them some off and then spent 2 hours shelling.
They look lovely and crisp @Dovefromabove. I love this time of year on the allotment, we can stroll over and pick what we want for dinner each day, aswell as supplying the neighbours too.
Nice chard @Dovefromabove. I've never grown them, would like to try sometime. @scroggin 👍 💯 fresh and chemical-free they are. I emptied one of the bags in which I grew my potatoes today. IIRC, I had planted 3 of my unusable supermarket potatoes in there. I'm yet to finish washing them.
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
