Bought a half price hydrangeas at b&q on Monday. It had been allowed to dry out…. By Wednesday when I left it was once again a beautiful large shrub covered in the beginnings of what look to be blue mop heads!… a good drink saved me a tenner!
Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.
I bought 2 hanging pots of cascading perlagoliums in Sainsburys reduced from £8 to £2.50 each. Ihappen to have 2 chimney pots that are empty. They'll look good by the front door.
Not as cheap as some of the examples already posted but was quite pleased to get a New Zealand tea tree and Jerusalem sage for 5euro each in a local home run garden centre/nursery. Plants that sounded interesting that I had not got to plant before so hoping they settle in well.
