    Morning all.
Thank you for the photos, Topbird.

It rained in the night but not enough. I'll do some gardening later.

Didn't see GW last night, will watch it today.

    Oh I dunno, the sun's out.   :D
Morning all,  Just waiting for the boys to descend on us for a couple of hours as Secondborn is getting her hair cut this morning.  Funny how it always falls on her weekend with the boys.
Just had a look at the plants they seem OK.  I suppose the next few days will tell.  Slept well last night and feel a bit better this morning after all the excitement of the last week or so.  Have a few days coming up where I should have plenty of time to myself.  Hoping to get the french beans in the garden and I might even take the plunge and put the runner beans in.  Oh must go the boys have just arrived.

    Morning all,

Cracking day here. Bit of overnight Marti and the starlings are descending in numbers to dine on the back lawn. I won't be able to do much gardening unfortunately - confined to barracks with a combination of work to do and a knackered old knee :(

Some windowsill seedlings really need moving on but the best they may get is a watering.

Who on earth came up with that idea, @Busy-Lizzie :o Bonkers!

Think I'll give it a miss this year 😉🤭 @Busy-Lizzie then suns gone behind some very large grey clouds and looks like rain. 🤣🤣

Hope the weather improves where you are @Ladybird4 the forecast for the weekend was supposed to be nice.
@Yviestevie glad the plants look OK, 🤞🤞 they all grow well. Enjoy your grandchildren.

    Have a lovely day everyone.

Sorry @Biglad you weren't there when I posted.
Hope the knee isn't causing too much pain. Hope the work laid today isn't too time consuming and you can enjoy your lovely weather.

SGL, your comment did make me smile!
Well done Hazel and OH for getting the arch up. You both must feel so relieved now and as you said Hazel, your OH is probably going to find some uses for the wooden arbour.

They're both goosed @Ladybird4 :( but the left one is giving me the most grief at the moment. That's what playing over a thousand games of football gets you!
