Yvie, have a wonderful holiday. Looking forward to hearing all about it on your return. Safe journey.
I have been dividing a large pot of rather tired looking London Pride. I stopped after 10 small pots and placed the remaining dozen or so into a great big pot. I hadn't realised how many there were. I also had Lily's TV on and all the cloths are now dried and stored away.
RosieBB I was listening to the rugby and looking in now and again. I was pleased with the final result as 3 of the quizzers are ardent Wigan Warriors supporters and have gone down to London for the match. They'll be smiling now!
Biglad, I can see where I made my mistake now. Having looked at your picture of the orchid again I can see that what I thought was an elastic band is, in fact, the stem of one of the flowers.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
It's finally weekend and I can have few relaxing days. Hot and sunny weather is gone, but didn't left peaceful. My area have only rain and wind but other part had a devastating storm. At Monday is national holiday or bank holiday, which means that we have three free days. I hope you are all well. Football is soon on tv and that will be my entertainment for this evening.
Evening Ante. Good to see you. I'll bet you are happy that Monday is a national holiday! I am signing out for tonight. I may take a look at the Liverpool/Real Madrid match but if its boring I'll find something to read. See you all tomorrow. My sis-in-law is going into hospital tomorrow to have a knee replacement op. Fingers crossed all goes well.
Enjoy your evenings.

LB Sounds like you’ve been busy in the garden with your London Pride, splitting it into lots of pots. Hope all goes well for your Sister-in-laws knee replacement operation tomorrow 🤞
Bluebells I did stop work for a cuppa thirsty work 😅 You’ve given your hair a nice summer trim, it soon grows back doesn’t it 💇🏻♀️
Yvie Have a lovely holiday i hope it is a thoroughly enjoyable relaxing week, safe journey ☀️🏖 Hazel Sounds like you both need your feet up after a busy day spent in the garden, Busy I’m sure you’ll find a good spot for the new plant, it sounds lovely, SGL Glad your new tops arrived and you are happy with most of them, it’s nice to have some new clothes to wear, hope you find a cardigan you like soon, Ante Nice for you to have a long weekend enjoy the free time, i hope you don’t see any of the severe weather, Have a lovely evening everyone.
Evening everyone, Good to see you @Ante1 At least this Monday you don't have to work 🤗😉 @Ladybird4 funny how Sweet peas aren't growing well this year. Love London Pride. I have some in my garden too. Both my Mum and Nan had it in their gardens too. Have you watched the The 1st club quiz on ITV on Saturday nights. LB. Not general knowledge, but quite a good quiz. Hope all goes well tomorrow with your SIL operation. @Chivetalking I like long cardigans, but this year they seem to be all short versions. Hopefully we'll get a hot summer and I won't need one 😊
Think I'll say goodnight too. Night night everyone, sleep well and sweet dreams.
Fell asleep on the floor again last night - half working and half listening to the football. Not really achieving either
Up and working now after a quick (successful!) Brian/Cyril hunt! Loads to do today, unfortunately, to get me straight before starting the process again tomorrow. No doubt I'll keep glancing outside to see great gardening weather all day
Biglad, I often sleep on the floor, mainly during summer. I like hard surface for my backs. Sorry for the football result last night.
You may think that I'm crazy, but here is rain, wind and only 11℃, after last night storm. Enormous weather change. I hope all my plants are ok. I'm only worried about tomatoes, because they are the largest at this moment and wind can break them easily.
Yes - my back must like the hard floor as well! Don't worry about the football - I support Liverpool's biggest rival so was a Madrid fan just for 1 day
Good morning Ante, Biglad and all. Yvie belated birthday wishes 🐣. LB wishing SIL well for her operation. Ante I hope your tomatoes are all okay. Having some tea. Biglad sleeping on the floor sounds most uncomfortable.
