Evening All, Rubee Sorry to hear that OHs legs are still painful, but I’m pleased he has been able to sleep over the past few days, I hope you are getting your rest too, LB Brrr isn’t it! Well done on completing all the important date entries onto the calendar that’s a good job done, hope you didn’t find anything you’d missed along the way 😳 Have a nice evening everyone signing out for tonight, see you all tomorrow.
@Rubee sorry to hear your OH is still in pain hope the new medication is helping ease it a bit. Glad that he has been sleeping better these last few nights though. Hope you are getting a better nights sleep too. Take care.
It's certainly chilly this evening @Chivetalking and @Ladybird4 it's been raining this evening too. Bet your mum was pleased to see you and OH. Have a lovely evening. LB how is Jack, hope he's feeling much better.
Chive, I had forgotten a couple of important dates but I have made up for those (I hope! 🤞🏼)
SGL, I went over and saw Jack the other day and he is a lot better. He rang me yesterday just wanting to know what day the Lane is being closed for the parade as he has an ENT appointment on Friday. He was relieved to hear that the closure was on Thursday.
I am signing out for tonight lovely people. See you all tomorrow. Enjoy your evenings and I hope you all get a good night's sleep.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
I always feel a sense of relief when I've filled in all the birthdays on the calendar. With 4 children, 14 grandchildren and being the oldest of 6, it's no mean feat!
We had a very good roast beef dinner with really good Yorkshire pudding followed by pannacotta (lovely and creamy) with Cherry compote.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
@Ladybird4 glad Jack is feeling much better. Hope all goes well on Friday. @Busy-Lizzie I like doing my calendar and diary too, write everything during the first week of January. Good feeling once it's done.
Night night everyone, sleep well and sweet dreams.
Morning everyone, sunny here at the moment, but forecast for today is rain and a chilly day. Popping out this morning to take the top I don't want to 'Blanc things' 😉 Think there are gremlins this morning. It posted itself and then I could edit at first.
Good morniong SGL and all to follow. SGL, you have been cut off in your prime - or you are doing invisible typing.
I agree Hazel, it is not good having to consider taking a ladder out to keep a tree in trim. Much easier having a compact shrub that can be pruned from ground level. I was forever telling Jack off when he would tell me about using ladders in his garden a few years back. Thank goodness he doesn't even attempt it these days.

Starting again 🤦♀️ Shame you can't give the tree to someone @Songbird-1 I think after all the rain we've had these last 6 to 8 months every thing has shot up.
Busy, reading about your lush meal had my mouth watering - as I gazed into my cereal bowl. Mind you, I have got blueberries, raspberries and a banana added so they are delicious but I could have happily eaten roast beef and Yorkshire pudding for breakfast instead!
