Good to see you @Songbird-1 glad you had a lovely time with your mum.
@Ladybird4 your friends baskets sound lovely with jubilee colours.
This evening a parcel arrived with Cafe au Lait  Dahlias........i ordered those a few weeks ago, oops forgot about those 🤦‍♀️  I wanted to try those, I'll have to get some big pots.
@Yviestevie glad you had a nice day, will have done you good.
@Busy-Lizzie glad you enjoyed your meal today. Hope you sleep better tonight.
@bluebellsintherain hope you get a good night's sleep too.

It's absolutely pouring down now, thunder and lightning too.  The front door was rattling earlier. Still rumbling overhead and huge flashes of lightning, seems very close.
Will say night night to you all.  Sleep well and sweet dreams
  • We had our thunderstorm a couple of hours ago. It was forecast so OH mowed the lawn
    before tea.

    Morning everyone,
Oh goodness you were all up late/early. Hopefully you got back to sleep and are all still in the land of nod.
Although I was still awake past midnight,  goneodness me what a storm last night. The thunder storms lasted for some time and was very close. The lightning lit up the room ⚡⚡
The garden looks lush and green. I've had a little walk round the garden abd I'm sure everything has shot up.
I'm going to have another cup of tea, if you're awake Rosie

Good morning early birds Mrs-B3, RosieBB, Yvie, Debs and SGL.
SGL, those dahlias are lovely and along with all the plants you got yesterday I think you are going to have a busy time in your garden - weather permitting of course. I bet yours and Mrs-B3's OH have got smug faces on today after getting the grass cut.
Lots of rain here too last night, I had a little walk down my garden and everything is diamond-beaded with rain water so it looks very pretty. Off to see my Bestie today.

Morning LB  think we were lucky getting the grass cut, although we didn't manage the bottom part of the garden. I've not grown Dahlias before, I do know you are supposed to lift them before the winter. Thought I'd grow them in pots......do you know how large a pot for each tuber?

Oh dear, its just started pouring down again and gone very dark. I've had to turn the light on 🤦‍♀️
Have a lovely day with your friends LB hope the weather is better where you are.
