Evening all. Yvie, you have been getting busy with the veggies and I'm pleased to hear that the tumbled seedlings don't appear to have suffered any terminal damage.
Ruby, I'm sorry to read that you lost a bit of your tooth but it sounds as though you have got a super trip out arranged around your Dental appointment. I hope that there will be cake with the cup of tea and that some lovely goodies sneak into your bag. Will you be tempted by anything in the GC I wonder 🤔.

Hello Debs, You weren't there when I posted but how lovely are your pictures! Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed GW from the Malvern Show on Friday. No spoilers as I think some people have still to watch it. The double lilies are stunning but my favourite picture is of that wonderful wild garden. I absolutely love that. Mine is just about getting like that now. Which clemmies did you buy?

Glad you had a good day @debs64. I love the Malvern Spring Show. I have some plants I bought there in the garden. Lovely photos, thank you.

I've nearly run out of compost and I need more gloves, I cut a hole in a finger when I was edging the long border. Luckily they are a bit big so finger wasn't quite at the end. That means another trip to the GC soon, also need a watering lance.

I've planted my new geranium "Summer Skies" and 4 osteospermums.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I'm glad to read you haven't amputated your finger Busy, but come on 'fess up, was this a deliberate ploy to get to have another trip to the GC?
I am signing out for tonight - looking forward to watching the next episode of Grace. I hope that Ante has managed to get a lot of work done at the cottage this weekend. See you all tomorrow. Night night all.

    Evening all,

I spent longer than I ought in the garden this afternoon. I'll be working late and chomping pain killers as a result :(

Planted out some sweet peas, french beans and peas. Had to be done - they were falling all over the place. Got a nice wigwam-type construction to support the food 'crops' with the sweet peas climbing up the wall behind.

Potted on the largest of the chillies and tomatoes.

Made sure that the side of the house is clear for the drainage guy to get round tomorrow. Can't wait until that's done and I can start planting everything. Moving dozens of pots around and keeping them watered is getting boring. Although I did uncover a lot of Cyrils when I was shifting them today ;)

We're not doing much veg this year, just courgettes and baby plum tomatoes.
I've recorded Grace, will watch that tomorrow. I've really enjoyed this series.
