I just pop in to wish you all goodnight. My potatoes are in and I'm completely out. It was painful hot, 32℃ in shade, and there is no shade on my fields. Few recovery days will help. Sorry for bothering you with all my jobs.
See you all tomorrow. Good night and sweet dreams.
That sounds draining @Ante1 - I couldn't work in that kind of heat.
Mother Nature has turned on her waterworks again @Ladybird4. I nipped out just before it started again. To avoid walking on the new lawn, I go round the borders to get to the compost bin - no surface water and the soil was firm enough to take my weight without me going ankle-deep. Previously, this was the area that had a foot deep pond in it every time it rained for longer than 10 minutes I think drainage guy has worked his magic!
Ante it will have been very hard working in the sun at a high temperature.  Make sure you replenish fluids for yourself and have some restful evenings, well done.  Big lad it will be a relief to you that the drainage is working well.  My parcel has arrived from America.  Very speedy indeed, it wasn’t due until the 27th, yet to open.  Wishing everyone a restful night after your endeavours.  Lily I hope oh has felt rested.  Busy sprinklers are great saves on energy. Night night. P.s. LB glad you were able to get Lilys food, Alfie is eating more.  Chive Nel will be enjoying the one on one attention. Night night
A very good morning to one and all, especially early bird Debs today. I am looking forward to seeing Jack soon and having a cuppa with him.
Ruby, I hope that you are all re-connected after last night's storm.
Ante, oh my goodness, how quickly your weather changes from week to week. Well done for getting all the potatoes in - at that temperature I think I would only manage to plant 6! You are not bothering us with your jobs at all. Personally, I love hearing all about your veggie growing so please carry on.
Biglad, I am really pleased for you, you will be thinking now about getting all those 80 plants into your new borders but I guess there will still be a bit of clearing to do.
RosieBB, great excitement with the arrival of your new package from America. I hope that you are pleased with it when you open it today (?)
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable

Morning everyone, couldn't get back on again last night, hopefully the gremlins have disappeared. Goodness @Ante1 you must be exhausted after planting all those potatoes and in that heat too. 🥵 Like LB I would probably have only managed a few and then I'd have melted 🤣 hope you can have some relaxing days. @Ladybird4 love the pic, I certainly needed my cup of tea this morning. Glad to hear Jack is home. Nothing like your own bed. Hope his daughter got things sorted with the DNR that was shocking and worrying that that was done without her presence. Sending very best wishes to Jack. Enjoy your tea and chat with him. @debs64 have a lovely time with Thomas. And enjoy playing in your greenhouse. @Biglad glad your garden has been sorted, have fun planting out all your lovely plants. I've got a dentist appointment this morning. OH is having his hair cut. The sun is shining at the moment and the forecast is for a lovely warm day.
Morning @Rubee sorry I didn't see your post earlier. @bluebellsintherain how exciting your parcel has arrived already. Is it your chair covers. Best get a wriggle on and get showered and dressed. I'm enjoying watching the birds flit about the garden. See you later everyone, have a good day.
