    Evening everyone,
@Songbird-1 have a lovely time seeing your mum. Hope you can persuade her to have a little rise out in the car. Safe journey Hazel.
@Ladybird4 hope you've had a lovely lunch and catch up with friends. Enjoy your evening too.
@Topbird sounds like another enjoyable day. Thank you for sharing your photos.
@Rubee I like Hostas too, I've got 3. They are all supposed to be varigated, although one has come through this year Completely green 🤷‍♀️  one is just starting to unfurl its leaves and has already been slightly munched.  Sounds like you've had a lovely time in the garden, hope you don't ache too much. I could only stay outside for awhile, there was a very chilly wind today.
@bluebellsintherain your cocktail sounds lovely. Hope you've had a relaxing day.

Anyone watching D.I. Ray .....new series, enjoying so far.

Good morning all. Lovely sunny day here off for a walk with sister today to see the last of the bluebells and have a gossip.
Got my hair done yesterday then fiancé cooked us a lovely meal and we sat on the garden admiring the new greenhouse.
@Rubee I love hostas, I grow them in pots and I don’t get much slug damage.
@Topbird fascinating idea I love that air you get at the seaside how clever to recreate it.
@star gaze lily I do love cocktails but stuck to a glass of red with our meal, it was fillet steak cooked perfectly with garlic mushrooms and sweet potatoes and salad.
Hope you all have a lovely Saturday planned

Hello there Debs. It is anything but sunny here so you enjoy yours and the walk with your Sis.
Hazel, safe journey to see your Mum
Ruby, you've been busy gardening again - well done!
T'Bird, your travel stories are never boring. We all love hearing what you are up to. That description of the gradierwerk and those amazing pictures are really interesting. Thank you for sharing. I heard from Jack's daughter late yesterday. He is probably coming home sometime this weekend. He is having some physio to help with his walking. I'm looking forward to seeing him again.
SGL and RosieBB I saw quite a lot of cocktails - being delivered to other tables - whilst we were enjoying our meals and the puzzles (Dingbats)I had taken for them to do. These caused a lot of hilarity. I really enjoy our 3 hour lunches! Friend from Crewe and I sat to watch Beechgrove and GW last night only to talk all the way through both programmes so its a good job I've recorded them both! Speaking of recordings, I have been recording the D.I. Ray series SGL so will look forward to binge watching them sometime.

Good morning debs and all to follow.

Debs, have a nice walk with your sister. I'm glad that you had a lovely time with fiance.

I already watered my front garden and all pots. Last two days was quite hot, and this morning we have dry, warm wind 🤮. It's flower fair today, but I'll might go later. It's open till 7pm.
Now is time for tea. Have a nice Saturday.

    Morning all,

Fell asleep on the floor of the living room (my knee doesn't like the angle of sitting in chairs at the moment) and just woken up. Looks a lovely morning. I knew it wouldn't rain when I've got a newly-laid lawn that needs watering :o

There's so much in the garden that needs doing now that my knee is going to have to lump it today.

A couple of weeks ago I was kindly donated a massive lump of earth with a few tiny, purple-ish shoots poking out @Rubee @debs64 @star gaze lily . I chopped it up and had various lumps in pots, tubs or just lying around ;) Now there's suddenly lush greenery bursting out everywhere. Don't know where I will put them all, but my first hostas seem to like it here :)

    Morning everyone,
Sun is shining here too,  but feels a bit chilly at the moment.
@debs64 your meal sounds yummy 😋  I grow my hostas in pots too. I have the pots on 'saucers'  filled with small stones. Does help, but still get the odd munched leaf. Although I do wonder if it could be the wood pigeons 🤬  Have a lovely walk with your sister.
@Biglad Aww, lots of hostas, they'll look lovely around your garden. 🤗
Ouch, hope you don't ache too much after sleeping on the floor.
@Ladybird4 sounds like you had a good day/evening with your friends.  We've got Dingbats game in the cupboard, used to play that with the boys. Hope you enjoy D.I. Ray.
@Ante1 hope the weather stays nice for the flower fair. Have a lovely day.
@Rubee hope you slept well. How is your OH, hope he is feeling well.

Need another cup of tea  🍵
