    Good evening all.
Ante, I am sorry to hear that you still have a back ache - I'm not surprised really with all your hard work - so have a little rest during this week ready for the tomatoes and peppers on Friday.
Gosh SGL, bad news about dental prices, I wish I could get registered with a dentist. I might have to take out a second mortgage at this rate!
Ruby, I'm glad that your TV service is back to normal now - not that there is much worth watching on TV tonight.

Hi folks, Another busy day today, art class this morning and the boys this afternoon.  Secondborn came home from work very upset.  One of her colleagues has died today.  She had been suffering from Leukemia but had just had a positive meeting with her consultant after finishing all her chemo when she became ill again.  Apparently she picked up e.coli and then sepsis.  She was only 50.  Such a shame after she had fought so hard to beat cancer.  There just doesn't seem to be any good new around lately.

Oh @Yviestevie I'm so sorry to hear the sad news about your daughters friend. Life can be so cruel at times, that poor lady after all she had been through. Sending condolences and best wishes to her friends and family.
@Ante1 sorry to hear you're still in pain. Hope it eases soon.
@Rubee glad your TV  is back to normal now.
@Ladybird4 hope you can find a new dentist soon. Are there any NHS dentists near you. Unfortunately there aren't any anywhere near us. Our dentist used to be OH brother. He retired a few years ago and we couldn't get in  an NHS dentist. So it came a bit of a shock going private. And then this morning to have them go up a considerable amount 😏

It's just started to rain, just drizzling at the moment.

    Evening everyone late in tonight,
Yvie Sorry to hear that dreadful news about your daughters colleague very upsetting for her after all she had been through, it comes as a shock. My best wishes to all,
LB I’m another who likes to read our meters, l don’t want a smart meter,
Bluebells Oh dear I hope you can deter Alfie’s attention from the new covers, your cheese on toast lunch sounded delicious,
SGL Pleased your dental treatment was done today, though the cost sounded painful 😮 You were busy in the garden, it was very warm out there today,
Rubee Glad your satellite signal came back that’s a relief,
Ante That is nice to hear our floor tiles are similar, I can say I have a little bit of Croatia in our garden 🤗 Hope you feel more rested tomorrow,
I spent the afternoon removing the broken step you could see behind Nel in the photo, it looks much better without it there.
Goodnight everyone, hope you all sleep well.

    Evening all,

Just a quick mooch outside again today. A couple of showers have watered the lawn for me again - it's looking very lush.

Lots of little green beginnings poking through in the areas I sowed a couple of weeks ago. Can't tell if some are weeds or not. It'll be interesting to see what develops ;)

My first ever gooseberries are coming along nicely as well.

A very good morning Biglad and all to join in later. Yvie I was so sad to read of your daughter's colleague passing away at such a relatively young age, especially, as has already been mentioned, she had battled her way through cancer. Thoughts are with her, her family and others who will feel that loss. Carpe diem.
