Ha, ha @Dovefromabove - I think we can dance at any old time - but only have the rain come at night.  We shall have to calibrate our dances very finely for that.

I'm not very good at dancing  :/

  • Hi All,

Just back from the restaurant and a my very busy lunch which included the party with the very special Luncheon menu. My other chef came in at the crack of dawn unexpectedly, she said she was really worried we'd taken on too complicated a task, poor woman had hardly slept. Anyway, it all went amazingly well and everyone loved it. Some of the guests were first timers at CdeG, but said it wouldn't be their last time. I must say, I really enjoyed doing a bit of really swanky cooking for once, and it's a boost to my confidence in taking on such things. In fact, we're going to repeat the menu for the Lions Club next Tuesday evening.

Now, I have a cup of coffee in hand but am feeling so buzzed I might actually do some gardening for once. 😅 The weather is lovely.

That sounds like a splendid result @D0rdogne_Damsel … jolly well done you 🥂 and your staff of course 👍
Not gardening weather here … flippin chilly … we’ve given in and put the heating on @Busy-Lizzie 🥶

    I concur

The sun has come out. I've finished the rest of the grass and it's too warm to be in the tunnels.

Our heating is on too @Dovefromabove, but that's not surprising.

I really didn't like the "garment of the week" on the Sewing Bee. The black was too stark and it looked more like a summer dressing gown. Much preferred the one by the girl who talked about her grandmother.

    I thought exactly the same.

Hmm, well the Floriade has evoved it seems to be more of an Eco expo, rather than a garden or flower show. There were gardens and flowers of course, but quite a lot were still being finished. That said there was a great avenue of Tulips but I took most pictures with my proper camera so , can only post this for now. Rest of the week is river cruise,  finishing in Colone.

OH has finally managed to get someone to come and take the dead car away - yay.
He's also, 6 months on, managed to get my car to start - double yay.
Now the oven's packed up - boo.
