Thought I would try a bit of flower arranging with what I've got showing at the moment...clockwise from top...Desdemona, Boscobel, Gertrude Jekyll and Belle de Jour. Thanks @Tack for that info.
Jessica’s garden is indeed lovely, it inspires me to be tidier!
@Eustace Dominique is meant to be fragrant, but it’s only young and I can’t detect anything much yet. I love dark stamens on roses, I also love your Crocus rose.

..all lovely roses and Spring flowers ..  I love 'Lady of Shalott' too..
@JessicaS ..as everyone else, your garden is beautiful, and always good to see before and after pics, shows the hard work put in.. it's paid off..
@Nollie .. shame you can't get much scent from MIP, I've not heard that before, yet the rose is lovely still.. your French imports are always interesting..
@s.obrien .. that's a nice rose, it should open out more later.. I'm pleased for you too..
.. my best today. 'Kew Gardens'.. 'Cornelia'.. 'Lady of Shalott'..
I forgot about my new Ghislaine de Feligonde standard in the ‘what rose are you most looking forward to’ question posed a while back. The startled mop, as it is known, is beginning to fill out it’s umbrella support and I’m thrilled to see some tiny buds showing colour!

It’s all down to your nose and what scent notes you can detect isn’t it @Marlorena, do you remember I had the same issue with that other famously fragrant rose Chartreuse de Parme? Me and my OH debate all the time about which rose has the best fragrance, she can’t detect much of the (to me) overwhelmingly rich and complex damask notes of Rose de Rescht. We both love Austin’s LEH for fruity, citrusy fragrance but she doesn’t get MW at all.
edited to say, I wish I could grow Kew Gardens like you do, it’s superb! For me it’s a Spring rose as it can’t cope at all with my heat and goes into dormancy after the first flush.

The first things on my propagator this Feb! Wasn't taking the risk they wouldn't bloom till October this year! Planted out in late April and luckily, there have been no frosts (just north of you, in Beds).
Kew Gardens looks flipping amazing on black railings.
Scents are such a personal thing. The smell of Gabriel Oak is my favourite thing about the rose, but it makes my husband genuinely gag.
What does he say it smells of @WhereAreMySecateurs and indeed what does it smell like to you? I wouldn’t quite say gag but Eyes for You smelt unpleasant, like rotting tropical fruit to me, which nobody else who has it gets.
@Fire well my Blush Noisette is currently known as The Placeholder due to it’s temporary location but could equally be Square Peg in Round Hole 😆Â
