    Beautiful blooms everyone.
My three potted Austin's are still ladies-in-waiting, plenty of buds but so slow.....
Eustacia Vye, Marie Pavie and Natalie Nypels.
But hopefully soon they'll open, it is still early here for roses.

I hope lots of you are planning to do little vids of your gardens in the various stages. They are fascinating to see.

Olivia is good, everyone should have one. I am not sure if I want a third one though. Still, I wouldn't mind having some photos in their next year's catalog.

Desdemona also seems to be flavour of the month...

I do think white roses are the most scrumptious.

Please could someone advise me about rose replant disease? I planted two bare root roses a couple of months ago, (both the same). One is looking lovely, the other not. As they are one either side of some steps I want to replace the sad one. But will I risk rose replant disease if I do?

..no need to worry about it, much too soon for rose replant disease..  just whip out the poor one and indulge in another..

..re the Austin catalogue thingy... I don't know why they won't open it to those overseas because last year they did.   Helen Brothers in San Francisco had her photo included along with another I think from somewhere else..   So their line about logistical issues seems odd. Helen's photos of Austins are way better than anything they produce themselves..

Don't worry about hogging the limelight @Nollie  I think I'm way worse than you..  and your roses are simply spiffing ..

@bullfinch no you wouldn’t get RRD in a couple of months, normally takes a year if not two for that to even be a risk. A couple of months after planting is not long enough to condemn your rose though, the canes look green and healthy so I would just give it another month. Some roses just take longer to come out of dormancy than others, even two of the same type can develop at different rates. Is that manure you have surrounding the canes? If so it shouldn’t be actually touching the canes, so I would scrape that away a bit.
