Hi @peteS I think it could be another type of sawfly - unlike the yellow ones that lay their eggs in scars/grooves on the stems, these ones lay them in a curled up leaf. Need to remove and squash!
The Digiplex Illumination is covered in buds, which is rather exciting (assuming that's what this plant is). I'm sad to probably have lost two plants, though.
Re digiplexis, I actually lost my two plants in the ground. The rest (3 or 4 plants) was in pots and is doing well. I don't get that because the place where they were doesn't get waterlogged.

A bit late but congratulations @Mr. Vine Eye and family.😁 @peteS those are a menace ( if they are the same as the ones I had on my lime tree a couple of years ago) Remove as fast as possible, or they will eat all the new growth.
OK all of you brilliant rosey folks, I think this may be a bit of a challenge. I've been working on creating a new courtyard area (I'll post photos in due course) Planting opportunities are few as it is almost completely paved. I want a climber to cover a wall 3m or so high x anything upto about 6m spread. White, fragrant. Here's the thing tho', I must grow it in a container I'd like it to be a rose but a quick search online throws up the following few suggestions DA. 0 PB 3. Cheek to cheek (small, pink, no fragrance), Friendship of strangers (no fragrance) & rosa Banksiae (far too large). TW 1. Trier which does seem a good fit. Size, strong fragrance and repeat rambler, hmmm... Are there any more that might be suitable? Is it practical to grow climber/ramblers in a pot long term?

..I think that's a Hesperis...
..I thought you might have used Biochar. I think it's something I'd like to experiment with but I'm getting a bit long in the tooth.
Lol. Thanks
Pretty tulip, the colours remind me of Lady of Shalott
I think I might have lost all mine.
