Back to normal life.. school has started 👍🏻. Nights are becoming cooler , we had some rain. But absolutely not enough .. @Marlorena I wish you all the best , and hope you will find new energy soon.
The garden is recovering as we speak .
Front border of the house ( Julia child , folle framboise , Charles Empereur and a sleeping walferdange) Charles Empereur is a true octopus 😬.( double the height as stated… )
Lovely flowers. I can enjoy your roses from comfort of sofa. I am feeling exhausted and sort of waiting for winter now. Don't feel like doing any garden care. Not even taking photos or getting some cut flowers.
Thank goodness there is some rain predicted next week.
Been quite happy with my hastily (and economically) erected obelisk this year. Just 6 stems from last years Buddleia prunings lashed together with twine. Clothed with sweet peas & cobea scandens and 3 of my own root Tea rose cuttings
Obelisk looks great! As for Falstaff... be still my heart.
@newbie77... I hope you get your gardening mojo back soon. This time of the year palls a bit... I am already dreading the circus of hustling bear-like night-owl children into their uniforms next Monday morning.
Barkarole and another little flush. Very little black spot at the moment.

I have let some laterals arch over the garden and I am enjoying the sense of screening and privacy they offer from my over looked garden. It's lovely to have a high loop, of three metres or so, with blooms on. The roses are too dry to be blooming much at the moment - so I appreciate this Crimson Glory pop of colour. If there is more rain in Sept I might get a few late flushes of reds,

the dahlias and things in pots are pretty happy. It's been a "good dahlia year".

Inspired by @Pitter-Patter I have grown thunbergia for the first time. By accident these two plants in pots have created a thunbergia arch which I'm enjoying. They might enjoy being on the rose arches another year but they took forever to get going and I wasn't sure anything was going to happen at all. Maybe they are more 'autumn flowering'. The leaves are going a bit yellowy.

Colour is richer and deeper red in reality, looks a little pinkish on this pic
