'Lavender Lassie' is such a lovely scented rose, can be used to climb.. I first grew it circa 1987.. has the Austin appeal but raised long before they were heard of..
I've just ordered the last potted one from Trevor White's...
@cooldoc Super Trouper, though not fragrant, is prolific and is bright orange. I like flowers with bright colours for the vase and it is good for that.

So happy for you. Thrilling getting the last one! I've done that, had "Night on Bald Mountain" playing in my head till safely checked out.
Tiny Armada continues to grow, slowly but surely. The birds may be overfertilising it.
Birthday Girl, love the shape and coloration, looks painted on
Tranquillity, cannot capture how beautiful this is
This is my poor Lavender Lassie in her shady spot. I need move it in the upper garden, maybe in a sunnier place.
somebody told me it would be better to take her out immediately and put her in a spot for some time, and if and when she recover then plant her in the garden.
what would you say, or what would you do? There’s something I can do right now to help her?
Haha, thanks @cooldoc, I would be round in a shot if I lived nearby . Plus to get a chance to nosy at all your other lovely roses.
I meant to post these the other day, I cut them during the showers and keep getting a fragrance blast every time I walk past. Alfred Colomb and The Poet's Wife.
The cooler weather has brought out stronger colours but I'm looking forward to warmth, especially as the cool spell hasn't brought us rain. I am fairly sick of watering, I don't mind doing the pots but the in ground ones are real labour.

@cooldoc, doesn’t look as if it’s balling, just needs more time and yes maybe some sun. Mine is in full sun and it can certainly take it. I can’t say I’ve noticed exactly how long individual blooms take to open, sorry.
It was great to see a garden dedicated to roses in full flow on GW last night, she had a lovely mix of old and new and they all looked fabulous. Good to actually get some names too.
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
Margaret Merrill - this rose is still struggling after 4-5 years. Royal William - darker red in real life Pink Flower Carpet - 6ft tall, complete with bindweed! Not a rose, Dierama - I just love this on a high bank. New Dawn - taller than the shed. Jasmina - lovely rose but very droopy, heavy clusters, my trellis isn't tall enough.
