@Marlorena.   Kind of you to post. Which colour do you think could be Princess Anne? The supermarkets never seem to name their roses. I have an Iceberg each side of the pergola which must have been planted over three years ago now. One does particularly well whilst they other never seemed to want to climb. This year they both seem to be competing with each other so I may get a better show. I have planted a clematis next to each one this year in the hope they will intermingle. This was the one that climbed last year.
@Fran IOM .. your Iceberg is doing quite well there and seems happy... some people continue to report lack of climbing in some Iceberg's where they are bought as climbers.. sometimes it reverts to shrub form..
.. the first random, the pink/mauve rose I think is Princess Anne, the flower fades just like that.. a darker bloom is underneath.. the foliage is correct too.. I think Tesco were selling DA's last year.
@Suesyn Proper Job and Pure Poetry are also exhibiting similar behaviour for me - balling in the rain and now the edges are all browning in the sun. Love this unlabelled HT, I think a Tesco purchase a few years ago. Jayne Austin is another DA rose with a sturdy neck, the blooms are held high.
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth
My gardens in full bloom here, lots of roses out, more to open. A few pics from today; First great western; Sweet syrie, brother cadfael, angel eyes, eyes for you in middle border. Ariel view. Wedding day and Albertine in bloom at the back. Still clouds of buds on both. Ebb Tide, much happier in new less sheltered spot. CPM, munstead (doing so well, I love it!), glenfidditch and purple tiger, LOS and highgrive behind on obelisk / trellis. Left hand ariel view. The big yellow cloud is composed of Rosa Des cistertiens, mountbatten and Glenfidditch. You can see various potted ones too, most of which need bigger pots Fragrant delight; Abracadabra (at parents waiting collection!). I knew whatever I had labelled that wasnt the right rose! Suspect mine is "oranges and lemons"
It is absolutely not a bloom machine  and the blooms are most of the time immediately gone. (2-3 days) But it is so lovely , probably I will give it one year more in the hope it will toughen up.Â
Meanwhile I’m looking for a replacement of my pink cloud. anyone has ever seen Rosengarten zweibrucken. so looking for a rambler / climber for a half shade /sun position preferable a vibrant color but does not crisp in the sun . It has sun between 10 and 14 in high summer but in spring more seen the trees are not leaving out yet  https://lens-roses.com/shop/rosengarten-zweibrucken-r-14379
