@WhereAreMySecateurs you asked: what other roses in the cream--->apricot spectrum would you recommend?
I loved @pitter-patter's Sweet Honey. Another one, new this year for me, is Bordure Abricot. From my limited experience, this rose is floriferous and very attractive.
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth
Thank you, Tack! I'll try an order from RV as I just noticed they sell your Odyssey. Love all your beautiful roses so very much, especially Forever Royal and Pink Martini there- what wonderful colours.
Thank you so much for those suggestions, Eustace; I'll look them up. In fairness everything in pitter-patter's garden is to die for...
..for a little known[?] apricot rose, Trevor White sells one called 'Lolabelle'... I might get myself into trouble if I told you what I think it really is, but... ..it also has a strong tea scent, and flowers all summer..
..it's a shrub rose. I had it in too much shade to see at its best, and had nowhere else for it at the time. A really good rose actually, well, it would be.. lol..Â
Question to all those who grow Snow goose: Does it tolerate shade? it is not listed as shade-tolerant on the DA site, but i am hoping for some positive answers 😅 Is it floriferous, repeating well? i am looking for a smaller rambler for a shady spot, repeating, white and Snow goose seems a good choice from many points of view. Oh, unfussy would also be important. Guirlande d'amour would fit the bill, but i have already planted it in a different spot.Â

That's another heart-stopper.
@Eustace
.. well done !.. [I had quite forgotten]..
@murasaki
'Snow Goose' is slightly tender, I believe it's of Noisette extraction. Just wondering about your winters..?
