Thanks @tack for info on soaker hose. I don't have any roses on wishlist so I can save up for getting soaker hose.

@Tack and @newbie77 I have a 4 way water splitter so I only need to open the main and then open or close the valve or valves that go to the tube/tubes I want the water to go. It doesn’t cost much and is a time saver. Something like that:

That looks great Dabolem. My soakers are in very spread apart and different sections of the garden, 2 of them a long way from the tap, so it would require long distances of hose/pipe buried beneath the lawn. I use the hose to manually water smaller pockets of plants elsewhere in the garden too so still need to have a hose run out.

Sorry about so many questions, which brand is it?
I have Hozelock, both the soaker hoses and pot watering system.

Beautiful @Tack. My Mme Isaac Pereire is in full sun, it’s not that it suffers overall but I think the flowers stay more luscious out of midday sun.

Thanks Omori, that's what I was hoping you'd say, it can stay put till the next flush. I also forgot to specifically admire your most recent dog pic. Seeing any Yellow Lab makes my heart flip but yours is particularly gorgeous.
