Agree @Eustace, I look forward to this thread every morning.
@Fire I’m glad your roses are doing well and hope you feel better soon too. It’s really hard to tell what specific thing you feed/do that makes the difference.
Just to say, I hope everyone takes my reports of roses in context and don’t let it affect your choices in cooler climes. The hot Saharan wind is actually more damaging to roses than heat, lots of crispy critters here. Just think of me as the advanced rose research party for climate change!Â
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.

Haha, no, I intend to buy Dee-Lish if the PB site is working tonight (it was freezing up last night). And if this act of hubris so angers the gods that they send unprecedented baking sunshine to Bedfordshire, I'll accept my fate. Â
Rambling Rose The Garland. Planted about 4 years ago I'm really pleased with it. The scent from the mass of (bee-friendly) flowers is lovely and fills the whole garden during the morning and afternoon. In autumn the hips remain and by Christmas it looks like it has been decorated with hundreds of little red baubles. Even out of season the delicate fern-like foliage is attractive.

@Imprevu nice garden.
Loving all the rose photos. For me, this forum has become akin to reading the newspaper, first thing in the morning.

Elizabeth looking beautiful. Happy with it.
Young Lycidas, floppy but very fragrant and I like big flowers and its colour.Â
William Shakespeare 2000, mine is not in a good location.
The Prince has recovered from 2 inch twig and flowering. Duftzauber, Bengali and Grace.Â
Vanessa Bell this morning, with hoverfly
