Good morning SGL, Chive and Ruby. I forgot to mention that I did pass on all of your good wishes to Sameena and she was very appreciative.
It must be hair cut season I think. We all seem to be having our trims at roughly the same time.
Ruby, I am hoping to prick out some more seedlings today after the SM run. I hope you do manage to get into the garden.

    Morning all.

SG Lily I hope you are as pleased with your haircut as I am with mine.

How lovely for you to have some of Joyce's pictures LB. Her death was a bit if a shock. Sometimes you feel you are getting to know someone here then they disappear without you knowing what happened. I wonder if Happy Marion is still alive.

We had a good time last night, there were 7 of us. I remembered the sloes.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Rosie here on Rubees iPad, good morning all, thank you LB, Lily and Chive.  I surprisingly slept in this morning, round at Rubees catching up.  Hope everyone is okay.

Morning Debs - missed your first post -, Busy, Hazel and RosieBB.
Debs, I'm very jealous of your purchase. I'm not long back from 'sco and mine only had violas - which I have loads of and dianthus. I'll always keep looking though.
Chive, have a fun day with the small people.
Well done Busy for remembering the sloes. I am seriously embarrassed to have to admit to forgetting the coupons again - I have no clue what is wrong with me. It was my friend on the check out so maybe we were just chatting too much. 'sco have now got rid of the 'one way in and the other wait out' at the entrance and I was amused to hear a lady excitedly discussing this with a lady I assumed to be her Mum. She said "Quick, which way shall we go in. This is so good."
Hazel, I hope you are OK. Wish I had your sunshine.
Good to see you RosieBB, I was wondering where you were but a nice sleep will have done you the world of good.

  • LB how lovely for you to have something belonging to Joyce.  It was thoughtful of Sameena.  Lily I hope you too like your haircut.  Busy glad you like yours.  Top bird it will be sad to move on from the mh.  it will have some fabulous memories for you and oh.  Hazel the boiler works great for heating now, fingers crossed, and behaves itself for the engineer for hot water and then goes cold for any washing after he goes.  Chive I hope you enjoyed time with mum.  I visited my parents and I had Bruno asleep on me.
  • Hazel the weather has been good here too.  You have a lovely selection of plants and flowers there. I shouldnt have dilly dallied over the acer.

Afternoon all - it has been a glorious spring-like day today. Windows open, hours in the garden, visits from 4 of next door's cats and (like Hazel) the grass has had its first cut of the year. The garden suddenly looks a whole lot tidier and I can see spring flowers instead of a mess!😎

LB - I'm glad you had such an enjoyable visit to Sameena's. I remember seeing some of Joyce's needlepoint work. She had a good eye for colour combinations.

You're not the only one who forgets their vouchers. I bought a bottle of wine last week because I had a voucher for £1 off and forgot to use it. Ho hum - I'll just have to buy another one this week😉😁

I'm having my haircut on Tuesday. Can't wait - it feels really shaggy although it's only 5 weeks since it was last done. Have to keep reminding myself I went over 4 months with just a bit of self-trimming last year and nobody died. Probably nobody except me even noticed!

    Good evening all.

LB, I'm so glad that you had a nice time with Sameena. Somehow, I missed information that you will visit her. Love those paintings. My favorite is last on second photo.

Tomorrow is Friday, already. This week is passing so quickly to me. I find everything in order yesterday at cottage. I finished few things, but soil is still frozen. Today was lovely calm and sunny, but now is again cold. It's time for cup of tea and rest.
