Hello all … I know that cake @Ante30 😋… a Polish colleague used to make one and bring it into work when we needed cheering up (pretty often in children’s social work 😒 )  … they look so impressive but she, like you, said they’re simple to make. I must try it some time.

Sorry to hear about all the poorly ones … I do hope they feel better soon and that painful conditions can be sorted out. Also a special 🤞 for @Busy-Lizzie’s dear OH.

I’m glad you liked that farm shop T@Topbird … it is remarkable isn’t it … and probably nearly as big as our Wrose down the road.

It looks like a wet day today so I’ll find something indoors to occupy my time … possibly a little light flicking the dust around as son says he may be able to visit tomorrow if there’s a roast dinner available… isn’t there always? 🤣
Havent seen him since Christmas Day so that’ll be lovely 😊

Good morning all. Off out tonight to daughters birthday party but hoping for a few hours in the garden first as it’s dry, and there is some sort of glowing orb in the sky, very strange.
Picked up a tray of wilted primrose plants from Tesco yesterday reduced from£3.50 to 88p, have watered them and trimmed off dead flowers and leaves think I have a bargain but why don’t supermarkets water their poor plants?? It’s downright cruel and they must lose a fortune!

    Morning all.

    It's been raining.

I bough a tray of mixed primroses from Morrisons yesterday. They had been watered and there were't many left on the shelf, don't know how long they had been there.

We are going to a local pub today for lunch. Had booked for OH's daughter and family but they can't come now, got colds and don't want to infect OH who will be seeing the lung consultant on Tuesday. Think I'm repeating myself, already said that.

    Good Morning everyone,
LB Sorry you were awake so early, I hope you enjoyed a lovely lunch with your quiz friends yesterday, what did you have?
Ante I had to search for Danube waves cake too and yes please would love to try a slice that looks delicious 😋 Baking is a great idea to keep yourself warm,
Biglad Hope you’ll soon be able to get planting in the extra space once it’s all cleared,
Dove Hope you didn’t feel too many aches & pains following the indoor tennis session the other day,
Rubee I hope you & OH had a good nights sleep, hope Bluebells is ok too and not having trouble with her Internet,
Debs Have a lovely time celebrating daughters birthday later on, hope you have saved those Primroses from a sorry fate, enjoy time in your garden,
Busy Enjoy the pub lunch today not the same without OHs family, but a nice treat for you both,
Good to see you @star gaze lily hope you have your new phone up and running now,
I need to test negative over the weekend to return to work on Monday, otherwise I’ll be back on Tuesday when the infectious period has passed. Son has gone fishing today, he is enjoying his freedom 😊

Ooh look - its elevenses! Friend from Crewe left a little while ago. We were watching the curling. Friend was a bowler and in her time has represented both Lancashire and Cheshire in competitions and she enjoys the curling as it is somewhat similar.
Debs, SMs don't water the plants - health and safety issues apparently. Customers may slip and injure themselves in the store. Staff may slip carrying water to plants so the same reasons are given. That was a real bargain there and I reckon they will pick up and flourish for you.
Hazel, have fun with 23. Fingers crossed Chive! Busy enjoy your pub lunch.
Chive I had a pizza alla pescatora - with smoked salmon, shrimps and prawns. It was very delicious BUT, I knew I would not be able to finish it because it was SO salty. I only managed a half but it did leave me room for a wonderful, handmade, tiramisu. Company was nice. Lots of gossip and laughter. Looking forward to April 1st now.

    Morning everyone,
Yes thank you @Chivetalking new phone is up and running and everything has been switched over from old phone to new one. Apart from number, which should happen on Monday.  Glad to hear your son is well now. Glad your'e feeling better, hope tests go well for you so you can go back to see the little people on Monday. How is your OH.
@Songbird-1 Sorry to hear about crackered window, hope it gets sorted soon. Glad your pleased with new Windows otherwise. Have fun with 23.
@debs64 have a lovely day with daughter and family.
Our supermarkets seem to water the plants.  And although I've seen people water plants in Ho#*b@$* I can often get cheap half dead plants in there and revive them.
@Busy-Lizzie enjoy your lunch with OH hope his daughter feels better soon.
@Ante30 save a slice for me, sounds yummy 😋😋
@Ladybird4 hope you had a lovely catch up with your friend from Crewe.
@Biglad hope all goes well with tree stump removal.

Minds gone blank, need a cup of tea. Then must hang up wet cloth things.
Take care everyone, see you later.

@Chivetalking ... I'm a bit achey ... at least I was yesterday ... when I used to go riding occasionally rather than regularly I always found that the second day after the ride I was much stiffer than the day immediately afterwards ...  I''m much better today thanks.  :)

    Good afternoon all.
I've been out in the garden this morning and I feel uplifted- having been stuck indoors for the large part of two days and it's dry and sunny . The area in the cellar which needs painting next has been cleared of mainly my gardening paraphernalia (don't know where it'll all go).OH will sand it down and prepare it for painting, 'cept we've run out of paint!
The kettle switch decided not to work this morning, so we were all for replacing it. Now it has decided to function properly and is switching itself off automatically. What's that all about?
Have a lovely day, everyone, with family and friends.

Afternoon all, very slight positive result showing today so I’m hopeful that tomorrow will be clear 🤞
Sorry Hazel I just missed you earlier, have lots of fun with son & 23’s visit today hope he likes hiding your painted pebbles 🤗
LB That meal sounds delicious, but I know what you mean about the salty levels you know when you’ve had enough, lovely choice of dessert too 😋
I hope your friend from Crewe has a safe journey home.
SGL Glad you’ve got your new phone up and running, it’s clever how they can transfer everything over to the new device. You can enjoy some anonymity for a while before your number changes back 😉
Dove Pleased to hear that you’re not suffering too badly after the tennis, hopefully next time won’t be so bad 😊 you’re right the second day after is the one where you feel all those parts 😳
Janet Nice to hear you’ve had a chance to get outdoors and view your garden, hope you can find a place for your gardening equipment to go while the room is prepped. A broken kettle doesn’t bear thinking about! 😱
I’m going to make sure ours is still working ☕️😅
