Was it the first woman in the clip? She didn't look particularly bothered to me. Europeans are quite prone to the asexual kissing of strangers of either sex. Not sure he'd have patted a male player on the bum, though.
...but this is a celebration.. I know that does not excuse sexual abuse in the slightest, but different behaviours occur naturally don't they? Things that would not happen in a 'normal' situation do occur. Only the two of them (unless there are also recordings or some lip reader has analysed the footage) will know what was said, but to me she looked totally unperturbed. BUT then I was quick to jump in on the evidence of the still image. Just shows you shouldn't be tooooooo quick to judge without the full info (or as much as you can get).
@tui34 - I know but have to wonder how much of the original formula is actually made and how much of it gets diverted to th ehighly profitable "beauty" industry thus making for medical shortages.
As for that Spanish kiss - not everyone reacts immediately to another person's behaviour, good or bad, and this man is a person in a position of power and, even when she'd got over the surprise, to be seen to react adversely and immediately was not necessarily in her best interests for her future career. At least now she knows she has support and that may just make some men stop and think.

The kiss may be considered normal in some societies but what about jumping up and grabbing his crotch? I thought only Michael Jackson did that. Thinking about it, maybe she thought a kiss was more acceptable than shaking hands!
From what was said on TV this morning he can't be sacked as that could only be done by his boss, but he is the boss with nobody higher in the pecking order than him. Others may try to force him to resign if they think he should but if he says he's staying they can't make him leave. He probably models himself on Sepp Blatter who allegedly said women's football would be better if they wore similar kit to beach volleyball players. He may have a point, but I couldn't possibly comment
But you can't assume that because she didn't react she didn't mind. If she wasn't expecting it (probably the case), it will have taken a while. I've been in a very similar situation and my response was to get away as fast as possible rather than stand and fight or protest. There are some situations when you know how to react - if a guy in a bar did that, she'd probably have slapped him. But when it's someone you know and they are actually or effectively your boss, you don't immediately know what to do.

I think that was my point. I assumed. I saw a still image and made a judgement. The video showed something different to what I had then expected. I think I then said - until I know all of what happened and what was said (as there are conflicting versions), then my judging based on an image was wrong.
