Like @floralies, all our windows open inwards but some are tall and need a step ladder. After all the Sahara dust and the general muck and the occasional rainfall this summer they're looking pretty mucky.
I'm girding my loins to do them all when the weather cools and the knee is a bit stronger but it will take hours as I'll have to do the insides as well as all the frames and sills and shutters. We are detached with windows on all sides and previous owners liked doors so there are 7 doors to the outside, all with windows, plus 16 more windows in assorted sizes and 2 veluxes.
Not something I do very often.

But I provide the water, cleaning solution, cloths, and even step-stool. I also provide her clothing, sustenance, washing facilities, board and lodging. Mind you, while I pay for the car and petrol, she is the chauffeur. I think she can do a little window cleaning, free of charge. 😉😁
The chap we had at our old house. A little pointy ladder and a bucket man used to use my water and my washing up liquid. He used to drive about in a rusty old banger. I saw him in a nearby town one weekend emerging from a top of the range - you could but a house for it- car.
@rowlandscastle444 I take it she has no income or pension of her own and that you don't benefit from her other skills such as house-keeping, cooking as well as chauffering.

Okay, so she cooks and dusts. I hoover, iron, and wash up. She works a little, but my income supports us.
PS maybe I'm naive, but it seems to me that the BBC goes to a bit of trouble to ensure the facts aren't distorted.
I concur. Who do you trust to give 100% , fact checked, impartial information @KT53 ?
That's easy. Absolutely nobody. When I read or hear something I take it with a very large pinch of salt and then, if I'm interested enough, will look for other sources of information such as the totally unbiased opinions supplied on this forum.
I'm Scottish. We're born cynical. I believe nothing anyone says, especially on this forum
@Hostafan1 I never thought we would have anything in common, but I won't deny my heritage simply to keep that up.

I thought there had to be some good in you somewhere, but you keep it very well hidden
I must get around to giving my windows their annual wipe down. In my defence it rains harder than a pressure washer here sometimes and I don't like to disturb the spiders.
I've not washed mine in12 years
We're still talking about windows right?
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
