Ever since our surgery replaced their IT system we have not been able to access our records properly through the NHS app.  The solution suggested by the surgery was to start from scratch with new details and reinstall the app.  All done and it hasn't made a blind bit of difference.  We can't access any information from before the installation of the new system, so anything pre Feb 2023 is not accessible.  Problem raised with them was met with a metaphorical shrug of the shoulders.  They couldn't care less.

Oh dear, @KT53, your surgery sounds a real pitta.

I've just spilt bright red nail varnish onto the brim of a straw sunhat. I was trying to touch up a couple of nails and dropped the brush onto the hat on a nearby chair. I suppose I'll not need the hat any more this year anyway.

Doesn't that effectively mean you've painted part of it @Lizzie27
Maybe a few other splashes of the nail varnish will provide a personalized straw hat.

Oh @Nanny Beach your posts make me laugh.

I don't think you will ever have any trouble with artifical intelligence - they'll never understand your demand!!

Tui34,I am glad my annoyance amuses you. I don't think I make an demands of AI. I have been waiting weeks just for a blood test. Youngest daughter has just texted, got the official administrator notice. Shame for her. She moved while on sickness leave last year, while pregnant,so the job she had would have been an 80 miles a day round trip commute. She decided to go local,is right in town, first job she was bullied by someone in their 40s.one of the very young girls, early 20s,let's just say "very" friendly terms with male manager, got away with murder. Absolutely loves Wilko and the staff.

Today’s curmudgeons sound really awful, so sorry for you all. We are going to have to downsize in the not too distant future, our garden is really too big for us now, and the journeys to visit family are feeling more and more onerous. However, our current  neighbours are all sufficiently far away to have very little impact on us. The thought of living with other people right on top of us fills me with dread.

We check jkw but not NDNs I'm not sure I could do it myself, but why not introduce yourself to the neighbours before you put in an offer?

Lyn,don't feel sorry for the wife, having to boil kettles for washing up. She is very lazy,as regards any housework, Gardening nil.  Cooking,by the smell involves the frying pan a lot. She keeps reducing her work hours (he doesn't know!) Her money is all "hers". We've always had just the one account. She does sometimes complain about the lack of money, but it will be on having to spend on something like an NHS dental checkup.  Other side,oh,no money ,but often holidays (away) every single month from may to September. (Mind you, both houses are falling apart,no maintenance ever done, not even cleaning windows.it annoys me because it devalues our place. Same with our last house. Ironically, the neighbours each side there, moved the year after us.
