Well, who wouldn't "love gardening" if their idea of gardening is just to sit back and enjoy the fruits of someone else's labour ? ( Sounds ideal to me at the moment ).  Besides, being a sleb  must be very wearing and time consuming  :D

It would be more honest to say they love their garden and to give credit to the person who actually maintains it.  Unfortunately that wouldn't fulfil their need to have their ego massaged.

Some plants have names like wicked witches out of fairy tales: Scabiosa, Griselinia ,Escallonia, Nicotiana, Samphire

Bought some pastries yesterday which OH thought would be greatly improved with a drizzle of icing on top. Not a problem, I go to the icing sugar out and started to mix a little up. Added too much water, too runny so added some more icing sugar. Too thick. This cycle continued until I got it right, pastry looked very pretty and OH enjoyed it. However I ended up with enough mixed icing to cover a decent sized cake. Tiresome!

How annoying! Would it freeze for another time? It's only sugar and water so nothing much to go off.

Put some mashed fruit in with it and make ice cream.

Now there's an idea. I quite fancy fruity icing on a cake now 😋

I did that a couple of weeks ago @Ergates, I made a loaf with over ripe bananas and wanted to drizzle some glace icing over and did the same as you, but I ate the leftovers
