Gung Ho! Unprofessional pilots. Inadequate training. Bottom of the pile recruiting.

Plenty of Brits and Americans killed in friendly fire incidents.

I wonder how it's possible for the pilots to justify bombing the intended targets.
Someone had to pull the trigger to target those maternity hospitals etc in Ukraine and then there's all those other war crimes being reported. It's scary that people who could do that walk among us. :|

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I went to a garden centre for the first time in months - not from choice. I would have loved to go sooner. Plants looked very expensive, the cynic in me wonders if it's because the smaller GCs have succumbed or maybe they need to bump up the prices to survive.
Anyway, it was difficult to decide what to buy as I'm still not sure what's dead in my garden. Hard times for me and the garden centres, I suppose😐

I have a good friend in Belgorod. NATO have been periodically attacking it for over a year.  There are a lot of Ukrainians living in all these Russian border towns, including many refugees. Wishing peace for both Russia and Ukraine.

I understand that NATO are NOT operating in Ukraine/Russia.

I really like forget-me - nots for about 3weeks and then I've had enough. The best time for me is when you can hoik them all out and see what space you have for the summer planting. I'm enjoying the wallflowers at the moment, but I've a horrible feeling that they're going to get in the way. How curmudgeonly is that?

    Is that really true @WAMS?
My understanding is that NATO are not involved in the war at all [ except supplying weapons ] and that is certainly what we are told on the News.

  • @WAMS. Whoa there !  You’re saying your friend tells you that NATO have been involved in attacks on sovereign Russian territory ?  Your friend is wrong !  I know they’re wrong because I’m still able to type this to you instead of having become a part of a cloud of radioactive dust !

@punkdoc yes, a great many attacks on Russian soil, and it is not "only weapons." But it's completely futile to talk about it on here. Winston, who wouldn't be able to pinpoint Belgorod on an unmarked map to within 1000 miles, knows more about it than its residents- so let's stick to arguing about forget-me-nots and pond liners. It is more meaningful.
