What would I pay for a decent set of ear plugs right now? :|

The question is … would the rest of us have got away with it for so long … or would none of us have been so duplicitous as to try?

Have you seen the price of alcohol? The kids can't afford it on their pocket money.

We had some English friends visit last November and they were shocked at the price of wines.  LIDL Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile is 2€29 here and £4.29 in England.   They were looking for that and Fleurie which they found at under 7€.

I have just booked ferry crossings for May cos I'm going to Chelsea for the first time in 7 years.   Over 200€.  Gone are the days when I could do a day trip from Calais to Dover for £10!  Irish ferries tho so I'll get a good breakfast.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
