@Liriodendron - that made me laugh. I can imagine the reaction if anyone had brought carrots into our workplace. Two words....I'm sure you can guess them   :D
At least they could have been given to the horses.

We had a customer who always brought us a tin of baskets when she placed her order of rosettes for their forthcoming show. We were all very disappointed when she said she was retiring from being show secretary.
    The world's gone mad.

Heard the news late last night that David Crosby has died. He did well reaching 81 considering the amount of substance abuse he indulged in. A great songwriter.

Everything was going so well, and then.....  Just had a call from the hospital, my hip op has been moved from 11th Feb to 20th March!  Plans for summer holiday well and truly screwed.  Place we were due to stay needs confirmation by mid-March.  I obviously can't do that.

Handy things baskets. You can never have enough. :#

We could do with a commiserations button, the like button isn’t really appropriate for acknowledging posts on this thread.
    Sorry to hear that, KT53.

That's bad news @KT53 just when you wanted to be over it by the summer. Mine is still scheduled for Tuesday next week.

@KT53 I hope your hip operation is done in March, probably because the hospital is short staffed and full of lung patients with Covid and flu. My OH's op was due in January, cancelled for the 6th time. They haven't given us a new date yet. We haven't been able to make plans for 3 years, because of Covid and his op.

My wife is walking our youngest boy to school. Just before she left I told her I was about to head out as well so she should take house keys with her in case I'm gone by the time she gets back. She grabbed the first set of keys she could find, which just happened to be my car keys :| Good thing I'm not in a hurry...
