Maybe, just maybe, they are answering emails from constituents.

Isn't that what they employ their wives, husbands, secretaries, caseworkers, constituency office staff for ... does anyone believe the MPs write more than a very few constituency letters themselves?

It seems to me that this country is running itself with no input from the self serving, snout in the trough  incompetents who can't even come up with a credible lie.
At least if they could manage credible lies we could concentrate on our gardens in the belief that someone is running the country - and not into the ground.

@Dovefromabove my sister worked all her life for the local council and only used a work e mall address. When I asked her about answering private mail when she was working I was told that an agreement had been made between the council and the union and that it was allowed!!

It seems many had rain yesterday. We had but a few drops... not even enough to merge with each other on the pavement. And nothing much forecast in the next two weeks either (30% likelihood of a 'light shower' on Wednesday afternoon, apparently). So I'm curmudgeonly about everything looking parched at the beginning of May. Harrumph.

We had enough rain to fill up my new water butt and everything looks much better for it.
