The immorality of Shell is unbelievable.  Having made their second highest profit on record for July to September this year ($9.5 billion) you would think they wouldn't begrudge paying a little of it in windfall tax.  But no, they've found a loophole in the legislation and are paying ZERO.

In my life, I've never knowingly funged. Should I be bothered if something turns out to be non-fungible?
is that something to do with mushrooms?

Well, Liz Truss did work for them, in their accounts department, back in the day. She probably was able to point out the carefully made loopholes when she was talking to them about their investment in fracking when that was her Big Idea

Our GP practice has updated its phone system recently. Now possible to book and cancel appointments via the ‘ for appointments, press 1’ arrangement. I managed to book our flu jabs very easily. Because I’m registered to view my records, I can also view and cancel appointments on line. Well worth getting that set up if your practice has that facility.

We can't currently book appointments on line.  Our surgery is getting a new phone system next month god help us!  Last time it was updated it took months to get it working properly.  They claim the disruption will only last about 10 days this time.

I think you are crediting Truss with a great deal higher level of competence than is deserved.
