Terrific. Not heard it here yet. The swallows will soon be arriving back too.

Did you hear the cuck or the oooo or borh? Apparently it takes two birds to cuckoo.

My own fault entirely but I have an earworm.

I had to go to the shops today. It's nice to see the majority of intelligent, rational people still wearing masks. Of course that meant about 1 in every 100 people because everyone else is a selfish idiot. And I forgot to get the curry sauce.
It's also Earth Day today and I'm seeing very little promoting that anywhere. Is anyone actually doing anything for it this year? I'm not driving back to the supermarket to buy the curry sauce so that will help a bit. :#

I'm sure you could cobble one together with store cupboard ingredients if you're really desperate for a curry. Curry sauce made with strawberry yoghurt might become a favourite.

Haven't bought a curry sauce in decades @wild edges.  Have you no spices to make your own mix?

Nothing here on Earth Day either but Google have bits on coral reefs dying and glaciers melting.

Unless we make every day Earth Day there’ll be no point in any of it … 🌍

Most 'Days' are for things which should be the norm throughout the year.  For those where it isn't the norm have a dedicated 'Day' isn't going to make a blind bit of difference.

The Gwent Wildlife Trust sent me an email saying they've got an Earth Day donation thingy set up where this other green charity will match any donations made. So I donated a fiver which ended up being £11.25 after matching and gift aid. That's been my entire Earth Day effort I'm afraid. :|
