One of the moths found in the trap from last night, you don't really think of moths as being beautiful but, these certainly are in my opinion and I thought they deserved a spot on this thread as well as the moth trapping thread, hope that's ok.

This is thread has been an education in just how stunning moths (and good moth photography) can be. They are unsung creatures but that does seem to be changing.
I think peak moth season is over here now and the weather is rarely good enough to trap all night. I managed two new species this week though, both micros and fairly drab, but it's only increased my list by one as I found an error in my recording
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I agree, @SalixGold, they are unsung heros and it is wonderful to see great shots of them here.
