  • The orange one is a Knot Grass moth caterpillar.
    Thanks that looks a pretty moth as well as caterpillar 

    Saw a slow worm today on allotment road when I went to get some bark chippings - I moved it to the grass edge 
    Saw a small green caterpillar I think on the black plastic - I was folding up untill my chicken came along and had it - gone

    Wow, thank you Sheps. Although I think many of your shots are better.

    I was really pleased to get that shot, though. The bees and butterflies are just all over the aster, I didn't know where to point next. Thankfully I was pointing in the right direction just at that moment.

    We are being bombarded by Shield Bugs, they are even on the windows and one flew straight into my coffee outside this morning......it didn't survive!
