Hi and thanks @tui34 ! Yesterday was 28℃, but today is little bit better, only 24℃. I never tried radish leaves, don't know what to do with them. This year, as weird as it is, I don't have cabbage butterfly. You can see on the photo that leaves are intact. I'll certainly spend a lot of time this week in the garden, and take advantage of lovely weather.

    edited December 2022
It's already mid of the December, and my last post was over a month ago. I just want summarize whole November in one post. After very warm weather on the beginning of November it became cold and it last till now. On several occasion we had snow, but my winter crops grow quite well. I had a lot of radishes and couldn't eat them all, so like last year I pickled them.

Last tomatoes are ripen on the sun and I made sauce for long winter months.

I still have two chilly Anaheim in cold frame with several green fruits, but don't expect too much of them. This was last, rather small harvest.

Now December. Still have black radish, turnip and daikon on the field. Two days ago we had a blizzard, so they are now covered with snow. I'm going today just to see how it looks like, and have a walk with my dog on the snow. This photos are from last week.

This year I have only one grapefruit and three lemons. They are in my front garden, and here on the coast is not soo cold, and they stay outside whole year. I took photos last week when we had a bit of sunshine.

Here we are, finally on the end of the year. Hope that next one will be much better for all of us. If we can trust my Christmas wheat, our gardens will thrive.

I was few times at cottage since Christmas, and now all my veggies are out, only garlic stay in raised bed. Since last post weather changed a lot. Almost two weeks it's grey, wet and quite warm. Also I saw on eBay that it's possible to order seeds from UK. We only need to pay extra VAT, but now I can buy seeds which we don't have here. It's a nice surprise for next year.

Last veggies which was outside on the field.

Chili Anaheim is still growing and fruits ripening, but this plant is in my front garden on the coast.

Coleus cuttings were well rooted so I planted them in pots two days ago.

On the end, I wish all the best to all of you, your families and gardens in the New Year.

  • Hi @Ante1 , only just found this thread. I  must say as a lifelong veg grower I  am very impressed.  We have Allotment gardens here, small plots of land rented (usually but not always rented from local council). My space only amounts to about 350 sqM, so we grow only for ourselves and immediate family.  Great to see your photos.  Happy New year,  and happy growing.

Just a few of my veg  from my patch.
