  • @Ante1 - it always seems incredible to me how much you have achieved, and I look forward to your posts always. I dream of a time where I can grow a good portion of my own food , and while this remains a dream ( and perhaps always will unless some circumstances change) you are an inspiration.

Hello after over one month. Students are finally at summer break so I have more time to my land. It's very hot since Monday, but I work outside almost every day. Veggies, fruits and flowers grove well this year, and I hope to have decent crop. Today I have whole day for resting, and outside is 36℃. Now let's start with some photos 😁.

Yesterday we earth second early potatoes, and main crop will wait more ten or fifteen days. They are looking very well.

Sweet corn, french beans and beans growing nicely, and french beans are already in flower. First harvest will be in next two weeks.

I have some fruits to harvest and other still must grove.

It's also time to gather some herbs and edible flowers.

Some lettuce and onions for lunch.

Flowers on the end. Tree lily, lily, and pomegranate flower.

It's all so productive and beautiful. Where are the weeds? 😄

Bravo @Ante1  Beautiful, just beautiful.  You are certainly having the hot weather, too.  And as @Busy-Lizzie says - how do you keep on top of the weeds?  You must spend hours and hours out there!  I'm impressed!!!  I sincerely hope you sell lots and freeze your surplus for winter.  I imagine that you would be a superb cook!!

Keep the thread updated.   And enjoy the summer school holidays!!

Thank you Bussy, Penny and tui.

Bussy, believe me there are a piles and piles of weeds. 😁

Tui, yesterday I was outside from 10 am till 7 pm. Most of that time I spent weeding. I don't use any chemicals, so it's all done with hands. I have wonderful elderly neighbour, and she help me a lot when she can.

Gorgeous photos @Ante1 thank you for sharing. The amount of work you have done is amazing and as @Busy-Lizzie says not a weed in sight.

Thank you SGL. Tomorrow I have another session with weeds. I must water all veggies, except potatoes. It will be one more hot day.

Ante, as always your pictures are just beautiful. I will never fail to be impressed by all your hard work. It was so worth you getting your licence. I have been meaning to ask for a while, how do you do all your watering? That must be another monumental task.

Thanks LB. Watering is also a huge job. I do it all with watering can. There are three water buts ( each 1250 l ) connected on gutters from the shed. I need around three hours to water veggies and fruits.
