    Uff, the seedling of mine that you circled, Ashwood have a similar one called anemone flowered, but it's currently out of stock.  I will try and save seed from it, but  as the seedlings in my second post show, results can be variable, although I will try and self pollinate it and then bag it to keep bees out.  It's certainly a rare flower formation for a hellebore, and I have nothing like it in my older parent plants.

    I wish you the best of luck fidgetbones.
    I can't do much else with my garden now unless I dig up things and then plant new stuff which I'm ok about because it was created in a rush to give me something to do 7 years ago so for a new hobby I've come up with the idea of plant breeding. I know it can take years to come up with something worthwhile but I imagine it's quite interesting to get involved in.

    Your most welcome @hatty_ , bargain there for £5 by the looks, those are very pretty. They look great in the raised border.

    @fidgetbones another gorgeous seedling!

    I'd like to plant some stinking hellebores which I understand are the native variety?

    I often see stinking hellebores (H. foetidus) in the garden centres at this time of year.  One has seeded itself next to a lamppost on the motorway island, next to all the rubbish thrown out of cars.
