    @pitterpatter I think it is amazing how they cope with such low temperatures. Anyone new to gardening may think that isit I have lost it only to find by lunch time it is looking good.
    I am not aware of any other plant that recovers in the same way.
    I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

    Golden valley plants have 30% off hellebore if anyones eying up some new ones!

    I had a double yellow from Ashwoods until some plank put a size 10 on it just as it was emerging.  I love the Moorcroft Legacy.  Most of mine are barely showing buds.

    I love them too, I put a few in last year but they didn't come back, and my local nursery hasn't got any. 🙁
