£8 for hellebores in a 2litre pot at my local nursery.
Obviously, you don't have the wide range that a specialist grower has, but it just shows the kind of mark up in a garden centre  ;)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • There are some lovely ones on Farmyard Nurseries web site. Not expensive and they are named.  I have purchased plants from them which have been good ,but not Hellebores.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

I'll keep my eye open for them, I like them very much.
Has anyone got any ideas what they might be?

  • Hi @Uff, l have the Harvington  hellebores  you are admiring.
The white is known as  Harvington Double White, the dark pink is known as Harvington Double Red. I would highly recommend Harvington hellebores, they have grown  larger each year in my rich clay soil and are very healthy, lots of blooms. I would recommend the Harvington Picotee and Harvington Pink Spotted also for lovely flowers, I have the single flower varieties.
Also Spring Promise hellebores are very healthy for me. SP Lily is very beautiful and SP Connie and SP Elly are good doers.
