Sorry to hear you still feel weak @Buttercupdays … a friend who had Covid back in the early days of March ‘20 was saying just the other day that she’s beginning to get a bit of strength and stamina back and can go for walks without knocking herself out and has even started doing a bit of housework again 😱. Apparently the things she’s found down the backs of sofas and underneath the fridge have been alarming … she’s a forensic chemist! Her advice to anyone who’s had Covid is to take things very gently, don’t overdo things.
Hope you’re able to enjoy the spring even if at a gentler pace than usual … and that the forum helps to pass the time as well as being a source of information. You don’t have to chat away like some of us do … some folk are good talkers, some are good listeners. The first are no use without the second 😉
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I have been very lucky to work as a Gardener for 24 years and I have recently joined the forum. What I love about gardening is that there is always so much to learn. Gardens are always on the move, a sunny border becomes shady over time and the whole area can need a rethink. That's what I love it never stays still. Be brave and ask those questions. I have already benefited from other members help just in the last few weeks, it's great to get help from other forum members who know their stuff. You may not always get the answers you had hoped for, but that can often lead to other ideas and help you think outside the box. That is how a garden becomes your very own. Confidence also comes from asking questions. I am sure that a 'like' is also appreciated if someone has obviously given their time to help.

I can't, personally, see any harm in non-gardening threads so long as they remain polite. When I meet people out and about we don't only speak of one topic - dogs when walking the dog, groceries in the supermarket, buses at the bus stop... It seems normal to chat about other things and the threads are clearly named so I don't need to fear a political debate if I ask about vine weevles. Many people have been stuck at home, recently, and may welcome a chance to talk about all sorts of things.
Spent all afternoon digging grit into my new border. It is my spring project, didn't think I would get this far so soon but there has hardly been any rain here.
