I bet Prince Andrew is the only person praying for a Russian invasion right now :|
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Johnson wouldn't be too put out either @wild edges . But his diplomatic skills might be called into question so not entirely a win win scenario.

I hope no one doubts that gambling addiction is a terrible thing, but millions of people spend a pound or two a week on the lottery, which they enjoy harmlessly and which benefits the arts, sport and other good causes.
Indeed they do, but many spend more on the lottery than they can actually afford.

Many spend more on booze, TV packages, junk food etc than they can afford too.  There is personal choice and control required too in this world.

I pronounce it ammi lankier. 😂
yup, lot do that too. No idea which is " correct "

As long as people understand what you mean it doesn't really matter on a personal level.  If teaching, the proper pronunciation is more important.

The tone and content of the statement issued on his behalf is totally at odds with his claims in the 'car crash' interview and every statement made by him since.

My sis used to call it that @Dovefromabove, before she knew the pronunciation, and now we always say it if we're discussing plants  :D

Well, what a surprise. Hard working taxpayers will be footing the bill for that creature  >:)
