So - what are you doing all day @barry island?   ;)
30 seconds isn't long enough to think about Nessie....

LTS to put up with that ruddy spammer @mrsteveearsom - get flagging folks!

  • Not quite I forgot hanging on for up to 60 minutes on the phone to book a phone consultation with the doctor, even worse if all the appointments are gone by the time your turn comes around. And possibly any university course during the pandemic.

There does seem to be a lot of inconsistency with GPs in lots of areas.  :/
Hope you get an appointment though.

  • I got the appointment and had tests which came back ok still not feeling ok though so the question is does the doctor now phone me to ask or do I phone for another appointment, when I phoned to speak to the doctor concerning one test which was "borderline needs to speak to the doctor" the receptionist said "this line is kept clear for emergencies" which threw me I have to say. Dealing with the GP today is a bit like Spike Milligan's headstone "I told you I was ill".

Maybe you should have said to the receptionist 'I don't know if it's an emergency, but, judging by the test results, if I wait any longer -it might well be'
    Very difficult.

@Fairygirl I have visited Lochness and while it is beautiful and quite inspiring as is the rest of the Highlands I didn't think too long about monsters, in fact I probably thought longer about malt whisky and haggis.

Fortunately - I never spend any time at all thinking about whisky or haggis  ;)

Spike Milligan - way ahead of his time, wasn't he?   :)

  • I think that sort of thing has done for me guts, IBS at my age it's just not fair!

    Maybe it's the haggis.

    Or the whisky @Fire  ;)
My sister had a very strange 'occurrence' at the age of around 60-ish @barry island . I won't go into detail, and it isn't IBS, but it's a similar thing and has caused her a lot of bother and misery. It seems to have settled down though, but it can flare up. There doesn't seem to be a definitive solution either  :/

I'm just glad I knackered my rotator cuff and have trouble with my piriformis. Much easier to cope with  :)
