    When Shirley Conran promoted her book "Superwoman' in the mid 70s she said LTS stuff a mushroom.  I suppose it is possible she was quoting Elizabeth David.

    @Pete.8 don't even try. It's impossible.. Stuff it into a pillowcase along with the duvet cover and get on with your life😊

    LTS to worry about what "people" think but for most of us that thought doesn't occur to us in our youth.

    The first time I had one I spent some time trying to work out how to fold it. Now, when it's dry I fold it twice then roll it up into a sausage.
    As you say it's impossible! :)

  • I used to love rolling clothes into ‘sausages’. That’s how I used to do all my T-shirts and trousers. I could then pile them up, easily remove the ones I wanted and the creases weren’t too bad at all. I still use this method for towels and bedding.
